Dear 301.dyon.pl visitors

Initially, I wanted to prepare a website dedicated only to one airman of Polish Air Force, who served
in 301 (Polish) Squadron, in (Polish) Flight C of 138 Squadron RAF and 1586 (Polish) Special Duty Flight -
my uncle Joseph Chodyra, but when I received other materials
from archives and other researchers I decide to build a website tribute to the whole Squadron.
I believe that all the airmen of Polish Air Force deserve for our respect and memory.

Now I seek any informations, any memorabilia or photos connected with this unit and Polish
airmen. My work is not limited only to accumulating information and publishing it on 301.dyon.pl. During my
research I assisted many families of Polish airmen in their own search.
That is why, if you have any information or if you are looking for any information about your airman -
please contact with me.

301.dyon.pl now is written only in Polish, but I hope that you can find some very interesting materials here, such as
photo gallery,
the list of Squadron's airmen (which I prepare
based on documents and books) or
the list of Virtuti Militari recipients
who served in 301 Squadron PAF (Virtuti Militari is the highest military decoration of the Polish Army, one of the
oldest military decorations in the world).
If you find here other materials interesting for you, I can try to translate it into English,
or put you in touch with other researchers.

If you want contact with other Polish airmen’s family members who live abroad, you can try the
300 Polish Squadron yahoo's group.

If you want obtain any documents or information from the British archives I recommended you my acquaintance from London.
Her name is Agnieszka Modrzejewska and she is a qualified and experienced researcher at The National Archives. She can
provide searches of military, naval and aviation (both Royal Air Force and Polish Air Force) records.
As well as visiting The National Archives, she also carry out research at The Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum
